Musical

As a creative team Marc Smith (Lyrics) and Hans Kunneman (Music) wrote various musicals.

In june 2008 'De ontdekking van Haarlem', their latest musical will be performed in the city-theater of Haarlem (Netherlands).

Other musicals are still available on cd: 'Een erwt in je bed' (october 2005), 'De Spanjaard moet hangen' (november 2004) and 'Exit' (november 1998).

'Maar altijd maar' (2,64 MB)

In 1996 Hans was commissioned to compose the score for the musical 'Jan van Scorel's Levend Linnen' Lyrics: Gerrit Hoogstraaten; CD: Koppel-produkties no. 53559601).

Music for film & television

Large classical ensemble

The musical fragments from Tarot Music (Hans Kunneman & the Gaia-ensemble) are a good representation of film music for a larger ensemble. Here classical technique is combined with a rich dramatic atmosphere.
Examples: 'The Hanged Man (1,40 MB)', 'The Lovers (1,33 MB)', 'The World (1,22 MB)'.

Small classical ensemble

In a smaller classical concept the atmosphere remains strong and colourful, as in the following fragments: 'don't mind the weather (1,50 MB)' en 'searhing for my angel (Vocal Merel Ritz, 1,92 MB)'

Soft-rock

In a soft rock style the rich harmonies are combined with a 'groovy' rhythm, as for example in 'Dokkie (Vocal Saskia Schäfer, 1,62 MB)'
